About
Michael is an endorsed Clinical Psychologist who provides psychological therapy for adult clients. He completed his Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Sydney and has worked in a range of roles across the university sector, private practice, and both in- and out-patient public hospital settings.
Michael has experience working with a range of psychological problems including anxiety disorders, depression, adjustment disorders, relational difficulties, self-esteem issues, and trauma.
Michael utilises evidence based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Schema therapy. He also draws on attachment theory and relational therapy to provide individualised client centred care.
Michael has also completed a PhD in cognitive psychology, he has published in peer-reviewed academic literature and continues to contribute to academic research. He is registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Agency (AHPRA) and the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA) and is registered to provide psychological services under Medicare.

Fees
Consultation Fee:
Initial and subsequent consultation fees are $250 per 50 minute session.
Medicare Rebate:
Michael is registered to provide services under Medicare via the Better Access to Mental Health Scheme. To claim this rebate clients will need a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) which can be acquired from a GP or a Psychiatrist. The current rebate from Medicare under this program for sessions with a Clinical Psychologist is $141.85.
Private Health Insurance:
Many private health funds provide a rebate for psychological services. Please contact your private health insurance provider to determine if this is a possibility.
